This dimmer adjusts the brightness of the light with its slide control, and turns the light on to a preset level with the paddle switch. Extend the life of your light bulbs with this switch by as much as 10 times by dimming the bulb to 50-percent brightness. The dimmer also features a glowing locator light to help reveal its location in the dark.
